OK I have to admit I am dumber than a box of rocks about all this. I put this post here and was referred to another site for interpretation of the sword which is below. But what the heck does all this mean? Is there a date? What means what? I have new pics of the sword marks the right way up as well, also a sign of my ignorance and I will post the link below the interpretation. seki is the province where the sword was made, Mori Toshiharu is the swordsmith name and saku just means made by.
