I grew up shooting .22's among many other things, but I never really got onboard the Ruger 10/22 train. My dad had one, as did my best friend and neighbor, but I never actually cared for them. I even "won" a brand new in box 10/22 when I was 12 years old at a local raffle and didn't even care to take it out of the box... Until now! And naught was it out of the box for long before this happened: Needless to say, I'm pretty excited to take it out and try to rekindle (or just kindle) my love for the 10/22 platform! Any other 10/22 fans out there...I'd love to see yours!

Nothing wrong with setting up a tactical 10 22. I actually like that one.
What I do think is rediculous is spending any time making something that already comes looking like a carbine, into more of an M1 carbine. That doesn't make any sense to me.
The best thing you can do with a 10 22 is make it a bullpup. Red Jacket makes an awesome looking P 90 type. but it's more than 300 duckets. And they're no good for lefties.

I've got 9 Slav. The ones that are modified are internal changes so they look factory trim so no glitzy pics. I have many versions including the Mannlicher, bull barrel/target models. synthetic/wood/laminate furniture, olympic competition model, etc. I guess you can say I'm a fan. lol

Have 2 his and hers, nothing special about them except for trigger jobs and extended mag releases. Hers has a scope, my just iron sights.

Me too...but have...uh...lemme count...4. A blued Clark Custom Team Challenge version (won at a 3-gun match) A stainless Clark Custom Team Challenge version (also won at a 3-gun match) currently setup as an "Appleseed Program Model" An AWC Ultra II integrally suppressed 10/22 A plain ole 10/22 that a guy traded me for doing some work on his Colt Commander (and it's my favorite of the bunch, just a beater that cost me about $7 and a Hogue stock)

I currently have 4.
None of them are anything special to look at aside from the one with an old side folder wire stock that I put on it so I could stow it in the truck without taking too much space.
That one also has a set of tech sights on it.
One has plain ole open sights, another has a cheat Simmons 22 4x scope and the fourth one is currently in parts and pieces.
