Considering that getting a real sword here in Italy is proving to be quite difficult and eventually very expensive, i decided to savage and fix my old Kit Rae and switch to knives, more easily obtainable.
Now, i've been practicing throwing for some years and was able to easily make random sub-knives (sempriniesque ones, with 2mm blade depth) stick to wood. I had also become quite good at throwing nail files and make them stick where i wanted to.
I interrupted this unusual activity because of university but recently got back to it. However, now i want to throw some serious knives and not point-like objects.
I've been reading around that a good throwing knife should be balanced and weigh around 200 grams; can you confirm this?
Moreover, do you have any suggestion for a good throwing knife that isn't too much expensive? I'm surely not going to spend 100€ on a single piece of metal that is going to be thrown and potentially lost. A set would be preferred.
If you could do me a huge favor, i would also like it to serve as a normal knife and not just a throwing knife (A friend of mine got a set of 3 throwing knives, but they are very small and the handle barely fits in my hand; i can't even wield them :/ ).
Thanks for your attention and i apologize in case i posted in the wrong section or asked something not supposed to be asked.

I've always found blade-heavy knives to throw better and stick more easily.

And, would you be able to suggest some model? Once again, i'm looking for something that can function by either a normal knife, with a preferably comfortable handle (not necessary tho), or a throwing knife. I like big ones (30-35+ cm) and with fixed blade (i don't know how to translate this in english; basically, the handle and the blade are the same piece of metal. Uhm, like katanas . I want it to be strong and resistant to brutalities, so no screws and other pieces that easily pop out after a few sessions) It would be awesome if it also looked cool, but i prefer functionality over appearance. Thanks for your disponibility. EDIT: here some example of what i would like to have: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... 2988-1.jpg Uhm, actually that one would be perfect, but i suppose it lacks the "throwing" part (I know that every object could be thrown; it's just that i would like it to be "officially" a throwing knife, that's it) Thanks EDIT2 On a parallel note, is this convenient www.aliexpress.com/item/Custom-H ... 16549.html ?

I have the Cold Steel Perfect Balance throwers, they are good thrower if you want to throw by the handle which I prefer. Of cousre with any thrower you want to use has a knife will need to be handle throw.
The Cold Steel True flight is another good choice.
