If I'm not mistaken, I believe we have one in stock. I've emailed Jason to check.

In the Museum Replica write up of the Early Spanish Sword, it is stated:
"EARLY SPANISH SWORD CIRCA 1300. The Moors first invaded Spain in 1050, and by 1300 held about half of the Iberian Peninsula. There were many battles and skirmishes fought along this shifting border. "
Actually, the invasion was about 340 years earlier! Per Wickipedia:
"The conquest of the Iberian Peninsula commenced when the Moors (mostly Berbers with some Arabs) invaded Visigothic Christian Iberia (modern Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra) in the year 711."
It makes you wonder about Windlass/Museum Replicas. If they can't get this very basic historical fact straight (don't forget the Oakeshott IV versus XIV issue), how can we trust them to make the swords historically accurate?

Seriously, I didn't want to point that out - I thought I was missing something in history and didn't want to seem like a fool ;D Karma for catching it too! Apparently Charles Martel is only a myth ![;)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Not sure who puts Windlasses' history write-ups together, but I should pay closer attention to what they write. Sometimes in our hurry to get the latest product up on the site and available for our customers.

Hey Jason (trueswordsman), do you have an MRL Erbach in hand? I would really like to hear your thoughts on it and I would be willing to bet there's at least 2 or 3 (dozen) others here who would also. ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
