Hey all, I am having a hard time trying to disassemble the CS butterfly swords, and the brass is really getting some bad tarnish.. so.. wondering anybody have a clue of how to disassemble them? I hammered the pegs out, unscrew the nut , and the stuff are all tight and stiff in their position and don't want to move! I wonder how they got in?! hammered in? If I hammer it out, it might harm the handle's wood too then? um.. bad.. what to do?

i never handle those so i could be wrong but even though they are epoxied maybe theres a way to remove the hilt? i know that if the handle is epoxied you'll have to destroy it to remove the rest so... maybe you could ask cold steel about it?

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
