Just received the pair Jian I ordered from Sinosword. Regular one measures 28" in blade length, the short one 19". Both are T10 folded and differntially hardened. Came very sharp as paper is easilly sliced. Ray skin handles with cord wrap. Plain Brass fittings. I am very pleased with both, especially the short sword. Very maneuverable.

I am going to guess $550 for both including shipping.

Very nice looking swords. How's the handingl on the 28" Jian? I was thinking of ordering one too, but I wanted a very light weight cutter.

It' feels obviously lighter than the Ronin Dojo Pro, the only other 28" sword I have, which weighs 2.6 lb. I'll say maybe 2.3-2.4 lb? Or it has a balance point very close to the handle (I haven't measure it yet!) However, this jian is intended to be used single handedly, unlike the Japanese katana. You can customize your sword in detail when you order from sinosword, however. I am sure they can accomadate your specification if you want a double handed sword.
