Hoi, My question is about this rapier: www.cashanwei.com/product/fencing-rapier-schlaeger-blade/sh1032bDoes anyone know if you can also fit a normal sharp hanwei rapier blade on this specific rapier. It doesn't say so on the page, but it also doesn't say that it wouldn't work. Maybe someone already tried that? I very much like the look of this rapier but I want it with two blades, for fencing and cutting (thrusting). I'd be very grateful. Cheers, Lan

I believe you can but I'll warn you that if you want to study historical rapier fencing this tool has some issues. The blade is very short and light. My club has a few and the schlaeger blades are only good against other schlaeger blades. Most other fencing rapiers have enough mass that it is hard to use historical techniques with the schlaeger blade. The quilions have snapped off at least one of the swords.

Thank you, it's just that I like the hilt an guard on that rapier, and I like the interchangable blades. Maybe I''ll take the bonegrip one, it's just easier for me to get hanwei rapiers because I have a retail store just around the corner.
