Russ Ellis, a frequent myArmoury contributor, owns and operates Tritonworks. In my opinion, based solely from pictures and comments from experienced myArmoury members, Russ does first-rate work at ridiculously low prices. That's probably why it takes 18-24 months to get scabbards from him. On the upside, it doesn't cost anything to get in line with Triton. And you can get in line for more than one scabbard at a time. Then get them all made at the same time by sending all the swords in a single package. I only know that because I got in line for 5 of his Maelstrom scabbards about 5-6 weeks ago. Not sure which 5 swords I'll get scabbards for, but he said I could decide whenever I send them. I figured that in a year and a half I can save up the money. ![;)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

yea.. it's certainly tempting & for some time, I've entertained the thoughts of patronizing them as one of my ATrim comes without a scabbard & seems an eye-sore to me... BUT, the hassle & cost of shipping my sword to them (on top of the scabbard cost) cause me to have second thought.. ![:(](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Hmm.. perhaps... one day, when I'm richer & have no new swords to buy... I'll go for it

Great quality from a great guy. I've spoken to him via email and he was absolutely a great guy. If you want a scabbard he's the man to go to.

Thanks for the website j. villarreal some of the swords I have been admiring don't have scabbards and some of them come with a leather sheath. Sounds like this guy does excellent work and from the pics on his site I can believe it. If he really is in Alabama I could almost drive to save shipping.

Russ was the gentleman I purchased my Del Tin 5156 from ( www.tritonworks.com/reviews?content=reviews&review=deltin_5156 ). At the time, I had him build a scabbard for it as well. It was a well-built piece, there were simply a few things I may have done differently.... Perhaps I should post a review.......... I will say this - the man is honest and a pleasure to deal with.

A company called 'Traveller in black' does completely custom leather scabbards for about 80 quid. www.tinb.co.ukIf you're in America then this is probably pointless. ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
