Hello people, I just want to share my experience with sinosword.com as a sword maker/seller. To summarize my post: Please put off your plans to order until shipping problems are solved. It was Aug 2012 when I first sent an email to them. Mr Kane was the one who entertained me. He asked me about the details of my sword and also suggested things that helped me alot to decide. Everything was how it normally was (I read the forums about sinosword). We sent each other emails, until the 45th day mark, when the sword is already done. Unfortunately, an accident happened, and it seems several swords were damaged, including mine. He courteously asked me if I would be willing to wait 2 weeks to remake the sword, or would I want my money back. I opted to wait 2 more weeks. After 2 weeks, the sword was done. Mr Kane sent it through EMS like they usually do. For some reason, EMS sent it back to them. Mr Kane told me that, due to events happening on Nov 8th ( www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/ ... HM20120928), security has been very strict, and that he was so sorry. He sent me my money back +$10 more. I would try to do business with them again, as their customer service is very satisfactory, but I would wait a few months. Today, I am a sad, sad swordsman.

Aw man that's unfortunate. I was going to order a sword from them some time in the next month or two. Hope they get everything worked out!

Oh, unfortunate for you. Sorry to hear that. The swords I ordered from them should be sent out in a month. Hope everything gets solved by then.

I would hardly clarify this as hard times or needing to wait... Just mention this when you order and ask if it has been resolved. Shame to hear of your woes though.
