Hello All -- Just joined the forums and happy to post. I found this site through different google searches as many most likely have.
I am a Government Contractor and a Blade enthusiast. I have done quite a bit of research through work to find some of the best quality knives and swords.
I found this by googling Windlass Cobra Steel. Well the reason I was looking is because atlantacutlery.com is a sister company of Windlass. All of Atlanta's made in house swords actually have National Stock Numbers and have reports of winning the majority of government contracts for Military Swords. All Branches by the way. I do not work from them and have not owned any of their blades, so I am wondering if anyone could give me some quality feedback on their quality. I am looking to get one of their short swords.
By the way, if you do not know what an NSN is, just google "The National Stock Number Story" and I am sure you will find the short book that has the history in it.
Thanks! Ranger Rife

Ranger Welcome
I am a sword and forum newbie too and also a Gov't Contractor based in VA. I travel to various Army bases World Wide. I've always liked swords but never had any in my blade collection. I just started and have 2 Katanas right now.
