Kingrikoraru, according to Ryan from KoA, Marto Atlantean is expensive because you're paying for european labour, and they use good quality stainless steel and other materials. Windlass makes theyr swords in India, meaning cheap labour. That's the difference. In KoA, Marto is clearly marked as not functional, or not battle ready. Regards, Alexander.

Most of you probably saw this already: Note the Indian workers. That's why Windlass is cheap. But it still has very good quality. I have just cut my first bottles with my Atlantean, and it's amazing. I have much more experience with my Cheness Ranko, and as a friend said, I was like a motorcycle pilot driving a truck. Please ignore the first 3 strikes... :? Regards, Alex.

Deepbluedave, the Windlass Atlantean is very well balanced, it was just a matter of getting the right angle of attack. But it is heavy, and even after those few cuts, my arms are hurting a little bit from them, and from swing it around before and after the cuts. Sandro, I believe the Atlantean can cut just as well as the chinese war sword from Cold Steel, as seen on that famous youtube video. Regards, Alexander.
