Just a word to the wise: olive wood, while it smells nice (like olive oil!), and looks great, has HORRIBLE tasting sawdust! Nasty, bitter stuff. Shoulda worn a dust mask... :? :oops:

It came mostly sharpened. I used a fine-toothed file to get it a tad sharper than it was to begin with. Mr. Burridge had already hammer-hardened the edge for me, as the originals were, although that cost an extra $10 or $15 or so.

I am currently working on a limehouse sword from Neil. Next up at some point will certainly be the Khopesh. Nothing else like it on the market at all.
