I ordered my sword about a month ago from the CSS and I was in contact with Sonny for a few days and then all of a sudden I am not hearing from him. Is this normal? I looked on the other forum topic discussing the time for some people to get there swords, so I guess what I'm doing is to clarify that it may take up to more than a month before it ships?
Thanks everyone!
Mike C.

I also forgot to mention that I did call as well with no answer. I did leave a message.

I ordered one on 7/14. I'm being patient and going to see what happens. I'm not worrying about it. I have faith in Sonny.

question: How long until I get my sword? Answer: too long, always too long no matter what sword or where it's coming from

lol we want instant gratification!
Anyways, when I placed an order, he never would answer my calls, so instead I would send many emails. He's pretty good at replying to those with very concise answers.

I am also waiting for a sword from the custom sword shop. I have talked to Sonny a few times on the phone and have had the best luck reaching him early in the morning. I spoke with him this morning and he seems like a very nice, very busy guy. It's just him and his helper doing these swords and right now his helper cannot work because of an inured hand, but he assured me he is working as fast as he can. I feel for the guy as it can really suck to try to try to promise any sort of deadlines with a heavy workload and all the while being shorthanded. From the sounds of it all the wait might be a little longer, but the reward will be great. I am like you and very excited to get one of these VA swords, almost like a kid waiting :ugeek: for Christmas. I do feel it is a far better deal to wait for one of Sonny's swords, than to order a lesser sword and recieve it right away. Good things come to those that wait. Happy waiting my friend P.S. Sonny if you are out there, thanks for all the hard work making quality swords at a good price.

one thing I've learned - whatever timeline I've been given for an order to be filled, I double it. Right off the bat I set an expectation in my mind of double what I was told. There's always delays so this helps a lot.
