I recently purchased a Kel-tec P-11 for an incredible price at a local shop, and am researching pocket holsters (and before anyone says anything, I know it's a bit large, but it does fit in most of my pockets, and I couldn't pass it up given the price, less than half what I was looking at paying for a PF9; I will also be getting/making an iwb holster for when a pocket won't work). I prefer the wallet style, or at least some mechanism to break up the outline and keep the gun from printing.
I just wanted to throw it out there, and see what people's opinions are...both their favorites, and bad experiences. Thanks in advance.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what constitutes a pocket holster versus wallet holster...I am definitely not interested in the "wallet gun" style where it stays with the gun, these are unwieldy and don't really do the job that a holster is supposed to do anyway. I am simply talking about a pocket holster with some sort of barrier or mechanism to reduce printing of the gun's shape through the pocket.
I will almost definitely NOT be making the pocket holster myself (although I probably could...my brother has/had a leatherworking business and it's not that complicated a design); I was speaking about making an in-waist-band holster, which my brother has already done for my other brother, and is improving on the design of by vacuum-forming the leather.

I employ a pair of pocket holsters for a Taurus PT709 9mm and a Kel-Tec P32. P32 in a holster made by JSHolsters: It breaks up the outline of the pistol well. The cut-out in the back facilitates access to the stock. 9mm Slim in a holster made by Galco: Although it doesn't breakup the pistol's outline as well, access is unobstructed. Newer pants with fresh sizing does a better job of carry/concealment than older/more comfy pants. Drawing the 9mm Slim Berfore Insertion Look closely; it prints, but these are older dockers Grab and go Oops. Pulled it all out. Hang the holster hook on pocket Present!
