Have seen lots of references to this place and their good prices in old posts but can't seem to find an active website or any new information. Are they still around? And if so, how do I see what they have available and go about ordering etc?
Cheers in advance!

Last I heard he was shutting down the business. I don't know if that is still the case, but figure if he had started back up I would have heard about it. He definately had a lot of loyal customers on SBG.
If anyone knows otherwise, chime in. But I think he is out of business, sorry.

Definitely out of business. Finished up his last few orders and closed house. His problem was that he couldn't keep up with the demand and he was running basically zero profit. Quite a shame as he had some very nice products, IIRC.

That would be Swordnarmory. Their Munetoshi line is a good value. I also like to check on what is at the SBG Store, as I've had fantastic dealings with them.

Meh, the SBG sword doesn't carry any Fable Blades or Albions or Atrims. I mean, you'd think SBG could get a deal on them, but noooooo...

I believe Marc sold the business to fellow forumite Deejay, but I haven't heard if he re-opened for business. You can find him here or on the United Backyard Cutters forum, try a PM there and see what happens.

No, Marc LeCompte. Sorry for any confusion.

Yeah, that's caused confusion before...
Taran: I think Paul doesn't sell those three because for the most part they're not sub 300's. The occasional ATrim might be, but far as I know there aren't any sub 300 Albions beside *maybe* the Squire Lines and trainers.

To be fair, a lot of the Windlass, Hanwei, and VA's this forum stands by aren't either

Aren't what? Sold on the SBG store, or aren't sub 300? (I'm sleepy, sue me )

I've never really looked at the store, but I know a lot of the currently recommended and reviewed products eek out over the $300 mark by a hundred or two.

Can't stay sub-300 dollars forever, with increasing cost of living and inflation, the price creep is inevitable... It's more accurately a "budget sword" focus.
