hi everyone in forum land =) i was wondering whats the best anti rust agent to use on a high carbon steel sword ive used renaisance wax and museum replicas rust blocker and both work great but is there something better out there? ? thank u guys any info would be greatly appreciated

I use a silicone gun-cloth. Inexpensive, l;asts a long time, provides long-term protection with no mess even in moderately high humidity environments like the US East Coast. Don't know about truly high humidity locales because I haven't been there with my swords yet.
Speaking of which, I need to ask my wife if she has wiped down my blades yet this quarter...
