Was out taking some new pictures today, and I figured I have enough swords now to warrant a collection post
All of these swords were selected with a ton of great information and feedback from the members here, so thanks to everyone who has assisted in helping me grow my addiction. In addition, only my first one was bought new from KoA... all the rest were from members here, which is why I was able to afford 6 swords in about 6 months... so thanks guys!
Anyway, on with the collection... some of these pics you've seen before, but I thought I'd put them all in one place.
My first real sword, Windlass Munich Cut & Thrust/Town Guard
Hanwei Tinker Early Medieval Single-Handed Sword, via Bill Swiger
Windlass Schiavona, courtesy of Bruce Brookhart's collection
Hanwei Tinker Great Sword of War, shipped all the way from Italy thanks to KittenSlayer
Windlass Sword of Ibelin, a Kingdom of Heaven official reproduction
Windlass Longsword/Sword of Roven, thanks to Marc Ridgeway
My Renaissance blades
A variety of medieval styles
The Big'uns
The Whole Sharp&Pointy Family
Newest addition Oct 2012, a custom DSA 14th Century Medieval aka Dagesse with scabbard by Crusader Monk
The inscription on the pommel reads "Tu quantum et miserescere et inimicis tuis viventes", which roughly translates to "You respect and show compassion for your enemies and all living things." Note that the Latin does not match up with what is stated on DSA or KoA's descriptions, but the translation still does... which is odd but whatever.
Oak display stand hand-made by my father.
Thanks again to everyone here who has helped make this collection possible, you folks are awesome! \m/
