It seems that the website for Enlightenment Swords has expired, would anyone happen to know any details behind what happened and if they will be back online any time soon? If there is an alternative site they are now using, would anyone happen to know what it is? Thanks for your consideration on answering my questions.

I'm sorry that I don't know what happened to them. I emailed them about a month ago and asked about their Kun Wu jian. All they said was that it was currently unavailable. Then, like you, I noticed their site was down. That was one purdy sword. Attachments:

Their swords definitely seemed interesting. The ones that caught my eye were the tiger hook swords, zhan ma dao, zhao dan dao, and their two handed jians. If I had to choose to invest in one, it would probably be the tiger hook swords since I can't find any other forge or supplier that sells them in a usable form. Though I would first have to find someone to teach me how to use them properly or risk terrible injuries, especially if I hook them together and try to land a hit on a target. Attachments:

I have their zhan ma dao and zhao dan dao, I've brought them about two months ago. As far as their operation is concern, they're still active on trademe.nz so I think it's safe to assume that they're still in business.

Thanks for the information Vue. I'm glad to see that Enlightenment swords is still in business, though I still can't help but wonder what happened to their site and if they will bring it back online for at least browsing purposes. Just going to have to wait and see what happens, I hope they are working on bringing back their site.

Enlightenment sword is not known for regular updates on their website, so it's quite understandable that they might not yet renew their domain subscriptions IMO.
