It's a Tried & True XVIa.3 I commissioned last year. I'm just now getting around to taking pictures of it. I'm about to do a review on it. The hilt and guard were made by another swordsmith. Don't want to give away too much right now. I can't be certain, but this is probably the only other one made sice Dave's.

Well I'll be looking forward to that review! And I'm gonna give myself a hearty pat on the back for that ID.

I'm a BIG FAN of XVIas with pretty hilts. I keep an eye out for 'em. But most of that was just a lucky guess.

And I could nail who did the cross and pommel as well ... though I'll leave it unsaid for the suspense!

Not a problem! I much appreciate it when beautiful swords make their way into any conversation I'm a part of!
Heck, I ended the last "on-topic" post here by comparing the subject of the review to a gruff resident of middle earth. Not exactly a strict convo.

Ahhh these have a place in my heart. I love the 3 in wide base. Luna I also liked how you described the shape of the blade that some would see at first glance as "triangular". There's just so much going on there.
Thanks for this review and the great pictures.
