Hi all forumites,
I wonder if anyone of you own Pavel Bolf katana? I am planning to order a katana from him and right now I am putting the final touch to my blue print. I would appreciate comments from you regarding his works.

I have one on order from him right now. It's almost completed. Just for your information, Pavel may or may not make sunobe blades anymore. But ask him just in case.

Ordered some sunobes from him 6/7 months ago, paid in advance.
He doesnt rly says much even throw facebook, its hard to contact the man.
Anyway what are the waiting order times for sunobe blades?!

I have had a blade by Pavel Bolf. I did a review and it is posted on the forums. I thought the blade was great! It was also an example of his older work, and his new stuff is much better. I don't think you can go wrong with it. I have teetered on the idea of ordering another one from him myself.

My 2 cents: For sheer value its hard to find better. He will be raising his prices for sunobe soon I believe. Communication is good, except if he is hard at work, which means that if he isn't replying, he is making blades. Expect at least a year unless you somehow manage to get pushed up the queue or he intended to make such a blade anyway.
If I get the chance I'll get a custom because quality wise outside of Japan, there aren't many that good.

Guess i still have about other 6 months to wait, hope he can have something by the end of the year.
Its sunobe only, no polish or habaki though.
