Hey everyone, a new member here. I've been looking at several sword forums for some time now, but never joined because I didn't feel like I have anything to contribute. With the latest addition of a Hanwei/PC PK and a PPT to my possessions I felt like I might want to customize/polish them and post the results for others to look and comment on! Here's the Paul Chen Practical Katana in it's coarse 800grit polish and a contemporary tsukamaki that's sort of a blend between katate-maki and hira maki zuka, although I like to think it's just a very broad "normal" katate-maki. I also have a thing for photography and 3D modeling, and think that the sword world has too little good quality photos of the items, so whatever I get my grabby hands on, I will take photos of.

Hey and welcome to SBG. I agree with you that sword photography is a neglected subject, so any nice are pics always welcome. Damn, I still need a serious camera so I may take the dive soon and commit to one. Excited to see some of your projects. Edit: Nevermind. Just got an FZ48 on impulse.

Welcome from out behind the guest veil. Always nice to have people join in after a good lurking. And we always appreciate more pretty pictures of swords, so photography and sword collecting mix sounds like a wonderful thing.
