I've begun planning my wedding and have decided that I would like to wear a sword with my gown, but I don't have a sword already in my possession. I am a fan of the simplicity of the cruciform and would like to have a sword of that design. I'm interested in something with a simple scabbard (it's an accessory, not the outfit). I would like a sword that will last long enough to make it a (possibly) multi-generational object. Any suggestions as to specific swords or peoples I can commission to create one would be greatly appreciated.

Man I wish I could wear a sword to my wedding. But I'm not that brave at a traditional wedding. Although my fiancé is thinking about having us cut the cake together with a sword. Problem is her family is very traditional or people may look down upon it. Mainly old traditional people who were not born in the US.

Brenno is also backlogged and has an injured hand, so he might have too long a turn-around, J Lundemo from OdinBlades may help if he is taking new customs. Otherwise, I am not horribly sure, what's your timetable on this?

I have not chosen my dress yet, this is actually a very recent turn of events. We've planned it for next July as I have a lot of family out of state (Alaska) that need time to make preparations, if they're going to come. I had never entertained the idea of a white LEATHER dress before. I had always planned more traditionally, but I'll look into it, thanks
