The crack measures 4cm in length on the outside of the saya surface. Saya_outside-view_crack-measures_4cm-in-length.jpg ... What would you suggest? ...
I finally had a chance to ask my Sensei, ... "What would you do to fix that crack?"
He said, he supposed it could be fixed by a shim glued to the inside, but that would entail a lot of unnecessary work. Best to just replace the saya and be done with it. --Lee
