Been bored the last few days so had a bit of fun and did a bracer in a fantasy style based on an image on a stained glass window i saw. Its quite colourful which was fun as i usually stick to plainer colours. I riveted two bent nail plates which are galvanised 1mm steel on the underside for a boost in protection. It was just a bit of fun but i's thought i'd share. p.s i need to file the corners of the metal as it scratched my hand putting it on!

Nice. But why lacing for half and button snaps for the other half?

no special reason i was copying a cowboy cuff style which seems to use lace and snaps. The benefit i've found is its a little easier to put on by yourself than with lace alone.
