OH double bo-hi, I love it man! Is that a Hauwei custom?
And your rack looks sweet man, the one on the wall with multiple swords is really neat too. I did not really think it looked all the nice in the movie, but I actually have a taste for it now.

It's a weird thing....it's not like the other types of sword racks you see in a movie. That sword rack actually was another pill it build. I had to search for wood sticks from the back field that were dead and very dry, yet with just the right amount twist and curves to it...
then i had to find a way to have the sticks turned in the right direction so as to allow flat swords to line up correctly from each other , spaced correctly, and flat to the wall.....
It took a while...
But when I got it done I knew that was the perfect sword stand for me ....
Right now on the bottom I have a wood sword i used when I was in UND Kendo for 3 years. Above that I have a wood sword I used in Kumdo that actually destroyed another wood sword during a sword arts demonstration. Above that I have a Katana that I forged myself from a bearing of 1050 steel, having never held or even seen a katana in my life before that. And now at the top position I have my new , first real sword, the T-10 Folded Katana!

Yes its a Hauwei and you do get to make everything custom. Now that I have the sword in my hand as I write this to you,,,,Im just struck by how flawless the workmanship is. This thing is like art... They took down the eBay ad that showed my sword after I bought it, but here is one that is a lot like it except for the color of the saya www.ebay.com.au/itm/FUNCTIONAL-L ... 3f14a3302d

Well i got close, but it's too thick and I had no idea how to make things when i did it. I just guessed and used japanese sword movies as a guide.
However it does represent part of the love I have with steel and swords, so i will always have it displayed as a way to tell the story of the things important to me .
But just as my 1050 katana speaks to me of my past, so too does my new T-10 Katana speak to me now about the future...
