Hauwei looks to make a pretty good product. As far as total, complete custom work(exact custom hamon, measurements, ect.) they sometimes mess up, but if you're ordering their standard blade with your choice of fittings they usually deliver well.

I keep thinking Im going to read someone tell me that its a junk sword and that im wasting everyone's time.....
But I have my fingers crossed that the sword experts will look at this blade and come back and tell me...."Close enough Alan, get the damn thing!"

I haven't heard many bad comments on them. As I said, for a full custom down to the last tiny detail, they sometimes will mess up on or substitute something from what you want to what they have. They flat out can't or wont do certain types of hamon. However, if you are buying an item that they have in stock(like the ones they show in their photos,) or just want to swap the fittings from what's shown to one of their other options then shipping is usually fast and you get what you asked for. Also, if you have fittings you want put on, you can send them to Jacky and he will install them for you.

I own two Huawei swords and this one was next on my list (same blade with Red Saya)...It already has the black same and cool Iron Tsuba. Folded with DH Hamon...Aside from a silk ito, what more do you want?

You may find a difference of opinion on Jackies communication but I doubt that you will find many that will say bad things about the swords. Great price for a nice blade. If you get it, post some pics.
