The VA swords are threaded M6-1 the same as a Hanwei Tinker sword. Email Sonny at Valiant to see if he can shoot you a new one out, or contact Hanwei here in the US, they may be able to get you a tang nut. They are the same between the two different makers. Personally, the Hanwei Tinker nuts are more durable, they are made from steel, and several of the Valiant nuts I have seem to be aluminum and can strip easily if overtightened. Short of that, you can use a cylindrical fencing rapier or epee nut from the many online fencing supply houses. You want one that is threaded M6-1 and uses a 5mm hex key for tightening. www.fencingstar.com/Hexagon-Nut- ... p/zb13.htm www.absolutefencinggear.com/shop ... 7/cPath/50 www.sgfencingonline.com/store/products/252www.fencepbt.com/pbthome3.nsf/0e ... enDocument

No problem, glad to be of some small help.
If you go the rapier nut route, I would take a moment to email the vendor to be sure that they are threaded M-6 to fit the VA threaded tang. Someone else on the board got one a while back and said that it would not fit. I am not sure if the threading was wrong, or if the nut itself was too large in diameter and would not fit.
