A neighbor of mine said his dad was in the navy back in WW2. He told me a story about his father returning with MacArthur's troops to wherever (can't remember) and said his father picked up a sword from a fallen Japanese soldier. I showed him pictures of gunto and he told me it looked a lot like it.
So he told me he'd dig it out of the basement tomorrow so I can take a look at it....I hope its the Honjo Masamune haha!
