Given the fact I got such warm welcome from the people of this forum, something rather rare in coding forums where I use to ventilate my doubts, I feel very enticed to post other pictures of my previous tries. As with the one I show forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=9995, the materials and procedures are not those of tradional japanese metal work...and not because my lack of respect to those masters, but rather because my total inability to access and acquire real materials and knowledge from a master or at least someone who could teach me things in person. It is my goal, that some day I could forge my own pieces, but now it is a very distant goal for me...I don't even have a place to do such. Anyway, this was the piece I finished before the one I posted for the first time here. Better photos I guess, but they show my early experimentation on adorning copper and blade. Comments are welcome! Ah...this is a tanto. I wanted to do a kaiken but I found the proportions too late Cheers Aram Material from where it came from Shaped but not polished With habaki installed and wrong fuller groove, which i fixed later... Saya and tsuka Installed blade Final look. The blade has my first attempt to add some motifs...I guess it cant be compared with the next blade's

You have an amazing talent. Keep at it, one day you will have a long list of people wanting to buy your work.
