"It has often been said that unlike Hollywood most sword fights are only a few seconds long, and I think this video is pretty good evidence for this."
The above line is the lead in intro to this month's video of the month, It is a vid of two idiots playing with foam swords. How two untrained men use foam swords on their roof top, with NO possibility of them loosing their lives nor their arms, has absolutely NOTHING to do with real weapons, nor how they are used in battle.
More than half the time, each man cuts the other, so how is one man given the cut, they both are bleeding, or they would have been if the blades were real.
Fencing is the Art of Giving WITHOUT Recieveing. And rule one in fencing is, "Don't Die!" To accomplish that with a real blade, you must block sword blows and parrie sword thrusts. You must give ground when your opponent attacks and take ground when you attack. A REAL battle, with real swords, between trained men is much more a dance than that video.
Just imagin for a moment, how different they would have acted if they had real weapons in that vid. With their lives in the balance, they would probably have been a little more careful.

Untrained in... what specifically? Lancelotchan is one of the participants in the video, and is an instructor of a Chinese martial art. He's got a number of cutting videos and other things posted including various tournaments between his students and those from another local (to him) school. The other individual, as mentioned in the article around the video, has experience within the SCA. What training he has, or has not had, isn't addressed in the video or article. However, he has had experience with simulated combat with medieval weaponry. The video still shows how quick and easy it is to receive a lethal cut. If you imagine real sharpened steel in the place of the foam blunts the lethal nature of the attacks is apparent. The difficulty in a "clean" attack is also apparent. Both were looking for openings in their opponent's defenses and those openings generally came when the opponent decided to attack. As for fencing, even it has a fair share of dual attack scores, as seen here. And the last time you observed a "REAL battle, with real swords, between trained men"? REAL battles don't use real swords any more. As stated a number of times throughout posts on this forum, swords are an anacrhonism to modern combat. They're too long and unwieldy to be as useful as various knives or bludgeons, and are far more commonly outclassed by firearms.
