For a while I've been saving up for a Hanwei Washington fencing sword and another Hanwei sword fencing sword for my own fight choreography. Washington: www.kultofathena.com/images%5CSH2325_3_l.jpgEpee: www.kultofathena.com/images%5CSH1032_2_l.jpgSchlaeger: www.kultofathena.com/images\PC1032B_2_l.jpg I'm looking for advice from anyone who might have experience with these swords. Ideally I want two swords with the same blade geometry. If I'm not mistaken, the Washington has a triangular blade. If this is the case, it is preferred. So it makes me believe that the epee blade would be a better suited match because of the similar thick geometry. Unless the Washington actually has a flat geometry instead of a triangular. I can't tell from any pictures I've see and there aren't any YouTube reviews on them. The last thing I want to consider is the availability of a scabbard. The Schlaeger has a scabbard. It's pictured below. But the epee does not. Unless the same scabbard below could also fit the epee like it does the shlaeger. www.darkknightarmoury.com/p-605- ... bbard.aspx But then again, if I'm mistaken and the Washington has a blade geometry more similar to the schlaeger, then I would definitely get the shlaeger and order its scabbard separately. What two swords are the most similar in blade geometry? Thank you.

Only a very partial answer, I'm afraid, and a tangential one at that. Looking at KOA's page on the Hanwei Washington fencing sword, a scabbard IS included, although I find it worrisome that the Washington is not only backordered, but backordered with no price showing.

Yes. I knew the scabbard was included with the Washington sword. I meant that the Schlaenger and the Epee didn't come with a scabbard but one could be purchased separately for the Schlaenger. I was aware that all three of the swords are probably discontinued from Kult of Athena. So I'm most likely not going to be ordering them from there. But they did have the best pictures of the swords so I could illustrate my questions better
