Here my lastest knife I've made, you can guess at what SSB means. This is a very thick bladed knife but very sharp. It wouldn't be a very good blade to peel with but it would do the job. Also would be real great to try to slice things thin with. It will make a good heavy skinner. My wife made and fitted the handle. Blade: 1070 spring steel, length 4in. wodth 1 1/4in, thickness 1/4in, flat gorund. Handle: Ash 4 1/4in, held on by brass rivets, and epoxy. Overall Length: 4 1/4in Weight: 9 oz.

I really like the blade design and dimensions. This is a hard working blade, to be sure, out of 1/4" stock!
I have a 4" utility with a similar handle shape, and was surprised how ergonomic this handle style is. (I'll try to post a pick). But it's a delicate thing compared to your beast.
I'd have to take it in hand for the next level of evaluation.

looks like a perfect bushcraft blade to me,nice proportions aswell,yeah good stuff
