I thought this would be fun to post. This is one of my favorite corners in my house. What makes it so special is that only three of these swords are mine. The rest are all ones I've purchased to give to my family members, thus creating two new generations with a passion for swords. My kids and grandkids decided to keep them at my house because I have a dedicated fenced cutting floor beside my deck. Those old enough to cut can do so. Those too young can watch their swords in use. Here's a list of what's in the pic and who I gave them to (from left to right): N. Burridge Tutankhamen Kopesh Tutankhamen Linen Sling Windlass Spartan Lakonian (these first 2 are mine) N. Burridge Early Naue Type II Bronze Aegean - #5 Grandson Hanwei Hispaniensis Gladius - #1 Son Hanwei Swept Hilt Renaissance Rapier & Dagger - #1 Daughter DSA Oslo Viking - #2 Grandson Gen 2 Crusader - #3 Son-in-law DSA 14th Century Two-hander - #4 Grandson DSA Sage - #1 Daughter-in-law Hanwei Tinker Great Sword of War - #1 Son-in-law Gen 2 Irish Ring Hilt & Dagger - #2 Daughter Hanwei Basket Hilt Broadsword - #6 Grandson Hanwei Bone Grip Swept Hilt Rapier - #1 Grandson Del Tin 1st Century Celtic Anthropomorphic - #3Grandson (Top) Wiwingti Ko-Katana - #2 Son-in-law (Above that) Musashi Poison Ivy Katana - mine (Not shown) Hanwei Lowlander Claymore - #2 Son

Your giving me ideas Dodger ! I've got a wall space at home exactly like yours, and yet putting my swords in it never occurred to me... I like your idea of the family corner too, watching the collection reminds you each time of the whole family

That is a gorgeous collection. I see a couple of my own picks in there... always neat to see when someone else has similar taste. Sorry if this has already been discussed in another thread, but I'm curious - how did you mount the scabbards? They look like they're floating there...
