There have been a lot of comments, but no full review. I'll put one together after I receive mine.

Funny story about this....- since I noticed this thread a month/month and a half back and started checking daily on what their specials are, it has only been a sword once or twice, including yesterday (sadly while I am sure that the Scottish Cutlass is a great piece it's just not what I have been looking for) -- I actually emailed them about a month ago and said, listen, I have seen several people post on SBG forums and also other places that they got great deals on different swords, including a specific sword that I would have interest in, from your company on Daily Deal at basically 50% off - I forget the exact numbers but say the MSRP of the sword is $260/$278-sharpened , on daily deal it's $130/$150-sharpened (perhaps not exact numbers but I am sure I had them right when I emailed.) I said in the email, if you can make that specific sword on sale now, I'd buy it immediately. Something along those lines, very politely, very nice wording and grammar etc.
I got back "sales are random. The sword you are asking about is not on sale. Sorry."
might as well have said, " no sword for you, sucka, kthxbai!"
Hey, if you don't ask it's *always* no, right?

Agreed. Tessack, dussage, dussack... that is what I think of when I look at the stats for this blade. I've seen Richard Marsden's Del Tin German Dussack and I agree with Bill that the proportions of this Scottish Cutlass remind me of that sword.

Oh this is just too bootiful! Does it come in a 4XL? ( I already have my saved Redskins pig nose and bomber crewmans hat...)

Dave, at our age, we are more used to the outfits that open in the back. :D If you're referring to the white ones that leave your butt hanging out, forget it. I tried that oncst, but felt obliged to shave my posterior prior to going to the debut. Couldn't sit down on it for a month afterwards.
