MRL has been down all yesterday and so far today. The last time MRL went down over the weekend, one of our members simply contacted MRL (when it came back up) and explained the down time situation and MRL honored the Deal of the Day even after it was over.
So if you are interested in this piece, simply contact them when the site comes back up and hopefully they will honor it for you.
Don't forget the SBGWEB coupon code for an additional 10% off. It will bring this sword down to about $80.

I am tempted to buy this. Its so cheap. Looks pretty nice as is but I feel like some foolin' with it may be in order as well. New grip...do something with the cross....I don't know. Tempting.

I have had 2 of them over the years with no problems. For that price, it is like buying a decent pocket knife.

Go ahead Bryan, the Del Tin came out beautiful, so I'm sure you can do something equally great with one of these.

Well even though it is not in my era of interest, I just couldn't pass it up.

I agree. You are indeed equal to the task Bryan, as your DIY projects keep getting better and better.
Me too. Soooooo tempted by the price, but even priced that low, the wife would not be pleased to see another long brown box arrive at the front door.

Thanks for the kind words fellas! I gotta keep my hands busy or I will go crazy . Well I did not pick one up. I stayed away, even though its nice looking and crazy cheap....I was not thrilled to see it had a threaded pommel. I like em peened....or at the very least keyed so the pommel can't get sideways... Sure Mike, send it my way One way to keep the significant other off balance in regards to the sword addiction is having a revolving door to your sword collection...with trades/sales and new purchases...they all look the same to her so she gave up trying to break my stones about the overall number
