B'tard sword up now Yep 3/2 Bastard Sword $ 159.95 www.museumreplicas.com/bastard-swordCan't find a review of this sword even though it has been around for many years under several different names and was originally a copy of one of the Del Tins swords MRL first carried prior to the Windlass takeover. I've often admired this piece even though out of the close to 75 Windlass I've owned this one has eluded me. If anyone has experience with this sword could you please educate the rest of us

I have one and it is alright. On the heavier side but manageable. I only bought it because back in the day, I had the same sword but gave it to a friend as a present.

That's actually one of the better DOTD's I've seen in a while. I think it would make for a decent back-yard swatter. At least it's peened, and not a threaded pommel. If it's good enough for Will Swiger, it's good enough for ME.

Unless they have a new sharpening person, I recommend MRL's in-house sharpening. I picked up their German Bastard sword a few years back on DotD, and that thing came SHAVING sharp...and still is.

This sword goes back a long way. I remember seeing it in the 1999 MRL catalogue.
