Bought my first sword a little over a year ago. I guess I'm addicted. So heres what I got. A lot of these swords have had multiple tsukas made for them. I guess I wasn't happy with the original, and then the one I made. So I ended up making a couple. This is my collection last year about the same time.... And here it is today! From top to bottom: Cheness O-katana from shirasaya, customized by myself (saya in the works) Hanwei raptor shinogi with custom tsuka by myself. Musashi Bamboo katana with custom tsuka done by myself. Musashi shirasaya (had a custom tsuka but stripped it for parts for the O-kat, the saya was redone by me as well) Musashi Iaito, just got this for Valentines day from my girl. already almost done carving a new tsuka for it. Hanwei practical wakizashi with custom tsuka. Again, done by myself. Brand-less o-tanto from swordnarmory. Sharpest blade I've ever seen. The tsuka is being remade for my girlfriend. Hanwei practical tanto, only Japanese blade that I haven't done a new tsuka for. I like the fake rayskin honestly. WW2 Chattanooga bowie that I repolished. VERY nice tough carbon steel blade. Well thats it so far, I'm scared to see how many swords i'll have by next year!

Yes, I enjoyed that movie! At first I though you meant the little piece of paper my girl stuck to my wall (Austin-schizzle: katana master) lol shes something else.
and yes, I love my o-katana! it feels very powerful, but so well balanced and light!

I watched Revenge on netflix. It was slow but a good movie nonetheless. Very good concept of the real honor of a Samurai behind it.
and yes the O-katana feels very agile. I finally took my first cut with it last night on a 5 gallon soy bean oil jug from work. It is about the same material as a milk jug so there was no resistance obviously. the real thing that I loved was just swinging it and taking full swings outside. The tachi kaze sounds like a massive whoosh, just awesome. Very fun sword. I cant wait to take a bajillion cutting vids with it!
