Anuan, you have a good point but i have a better point. while he looks nice and skilled at what he is doing... he is only impersonating jianfa. by the way is zhong ding is way out of alignment, he does not know taiji quan or taiji jianfa. also at the beginning of the form where he lifts the sword behind his arm... that is not in the form, and with a jian (two edged sword) it would severely cut him. it appears he has been watching james houston vids and working it into his showman routine.

It seems more like a gymnastic/dance routine than an martial arts form. I also worry for his knees in the long run unless he learns how to do some proper stances.

In reference to the TP Roach video I posted, yes I know this is not a perfect form, I posted it to show that yes one could do tai chi sword with a katana like sword. Since the Korean saber is actually a heavier sword than average katana this is made more difficult. TP Roach has a lot of people who dislike his showy videos and give him grief. Which was why I posted "Love it or hate it, he is using a Korean saber in place of a jian." The fact is that the video shows a non jian doing jian like forms. Showing it is a viable concept for a kissaki moroha zukuri, which was the point of this thread was it not?

Congrats I know how you feel. When I got my sword I definitely found I was in pure bliss. I love this style and am glad someone else has found the joys of this unique blade style.
