I have always wondered what would happen if I shot someone in a self defense situation with my daughter's Hello Kitty AR...

I doubt anyone would ever rule against you. In fact the badguy would probably forgive you if he lived.

I ordered a Falco shoulder holster that can also be used on the hip for my CZ about 3 weeks ago. Cant wait to get it!

I like Blackhawk's line of Kydex Serpa holsters. For my open carry, anyway. Level 2 Retention with friction and a locking button that is easy to release from a proper drawing motion but bloody near impossible from any other angle or motion. My trigger finger hits the button and depresses while I pull with the other 3 and then my trigger finger slides right to the trigger guard (and into it if I need it to).
For Concealed carry, I still like the kydex for comfort, but I am looking at upgrading to a King Tuck or similar so I can conceal with more choices of clothing.
I don't do shoulder holsters, but with my frame, there's only one way of concealing a full-frame 1911 in .45 ACP. Even if I suspend it vertically in a shoulder holster, the bottom edge of the grip or the top of the slide will protrude.

For IWB CCW I prefer the crossbreed supertuck. It's very comfortable and I'm able to draw and present very quickly with it. Unfortunately the founder of the company, Mark Craighead, just passed away.
