One concern of mine is the ##, I think and so has my Neph on the fuller, if it was a Nice wide fuller like on the Hanwei Charlemagne Saber, that would bring the ## down to 2 1/2lbs and h probably Handel a bit better......
Just my and my Nephs opinion, otherwise a great sword!!!

I agree, it is a bit weighty. its GREAT in two hands because the balance of it is so good, and it has a lot of blade presence and power. In one hand, however, you start to feel the weight a lot... especially on recovery. Its hard to get it moveing fast single handed and still control it. However, if you made it lighter and fixed that problem... you would lose some of the power and durability it has two handed for cutting heavy targets without fear. Everything is give and take.

I do mostly stock removal but I always forge the curviature in the blades and the guards are hammer forged when made from steel like the originals of these
