I am reposing my question from forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=9192 it did not get replys there. I probably asked the wrong questions :/ I live in Florida and well, I want to learn how to use my sword. I have some experience in marshal arts (mainly in regards to firearms and hand to hand) so I know a little bit about body mechanics (when I say a little bit I mean an itty bitty tineey tiney bit). Do any of you know of a school that mainly teaches European stiles? I have a Hand and a Half if that helps in picking out a school. I do need to be a little picky of where it is. I can not drive three + hours for a hour lesson what with gas being a pain in the butt... the perfect place would be in-between Melbourne and Jupiter Florida and as far west as Okeechobee. This makes circle about forty five minutes in diameter from where I live. On a side note, is it wise to train dominet hand and weak hand at the same time? With my training and working in several woodshops and mechanic shops I have become slightly ambidextrous and I want to keep that with my sword training. Thanks for helping a newbie out. And please disregard all spelling mistakes, I can not spell very well and it is embarrassing. No matter what I have done to correct my ignorance I still am not a good speller

Send a message to "brotherbanzai" here on the forums. He is located in Sarasota and I believe that he is active with a WMA group in that area. He makes training blunts, and is pretty proficient with a weapon, so I assume that he trains in some way. At the least, he may be able to point you towards a group of fellows to train with. Drop him a line, and see what he says on the subject. His website, in case he is taking a break from the forum- www.bronzebyjeffreyjrobinson.com/

Also look at local colleges and universities. I go to UCF and they have 20-30 people practicing WMA rather often on campus.
