My friend has a knife, the blade length is 5-6 inches. While another friend of his was cutting he accidentally hit the metal stand and the knife took a slight bend. It's a one of a kind knife and very special to him so I'd appreciate anyone who has dealt with this sort of thing to let me know how to fix this. Here is a picture, as you can see it's very slight but still a bend none the less. (not me in the picture) Thanks

Ok, with a brass hammer and a flat Piece steel to put the blade on, (Anvil) hammer the bend flat, take your time and check with each hit........

I'm guessing the brass is so that it is softer and won't damage the steel? Where can you buy them?

Yeah, It takes some one with experience to do it with a steel hammer, Some place like Harbor freight will have cheep brass hammers, it needs to have good mass, (ie) Heavy....

Harbor Freight definitely has brass hammers; also plastic and what not. Getting something to hammer it on is a little more difficult but a chunk of hardwood is cheap enough.
