It has arrived! Hello all! Yes...my Dec. 14th order has arrived...today the 10th of Jan. @ 14:30! I'm ecstatic! I will attempt a full review this week....I'm in the cleaning process now but it has arrived in good order....so thank you History Relics, and for those of you who have a bit of patience its a pretty good deal. I will say that 5 of those days were taken up in the travel of the blade after DHL picked it up from shipper.

OK, devil dog, fess up! I checked but couldn't find what you'd ordered. You need to give us at least a tease or a taste of what's getting cleaned up!

Hi Cossack! I ordered the 1897 Infantry Officers Sword... I put some preliminary pics at photo bucket but I have to redo most of them. Here is a sneak peak @ s1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc5 ... 1QQtppZZ20

Congratulations and thanks for being the guinea pig. Score one for history relics. Getting a sword out of WE in a month is damn near a record.
Just curious, box give you some indication of the doggy trail of where this started from and transited?

Hey Dave! I made a copy of the shipping trail thru DHL tracking...I just have to make a photo of it and will include it on PBucket by thurs. when I attempt my review. I'm trying to get some close ups but my 3.2 meg/pix google phone doesen't do that too well...or maybe I'm just not used to it yet...so will try to have everything up by thursday. CW.

Hello all! I finally managed to finish my review...whew! Its in the review section as WE's 1897 Infantry Officer Sword. I made it as short as I could and stick to the template and included a url to pbucket for slide show. It can be slowed or stopped at bottom for still viewing. I haven't finished cleaning it yet but maybe tommorow. CW.

Good job on your first review! It'll be a blast with the pictures.
Will you have more reviews coming up?

Hey Pinotte! I'm going to try a few more, not real soon, but I would really like to get some historical period background pic's to liven things up a bit, but getting permission from owners of the pic's is next to impossible without upping a little do-rai-me. Finding reprintable public material isn't easy either so I have some research to do. Have a good one! CW.

History Relics sent me a DHL shipping num. Sword is at the New Delhi air hub clearing customs for a flight here. Could have it by Thursday if customs bounces the right way...

How much did shipping run ya? I want a Sam Browne and if I could get a cheap 1897 as part of the deal it would be even better.

Shipping is INCLUDED in the History Relics list price. DHL rates from New Dehli to North America are HALF those from anywhere in Europe. ( I was a doubting Thomas about History Relics as these rates are unbelievably low, but they are legitimate.)
