Well my girlfreind accidently cut a bottle and the tip went straight into the floor, the very point of the blade is now flat, and a bit of metal is above it which i guess used to be the tip, is there any solution? or would sharpening do the trick (i got a sharpening stone the other day luckily) also the cap at the end of the Tsuka has come loose and comes off now and then whilst cutting, is glue the answer to that? Thanks in advance.

Mine almost cut me in half with it, the fact that it broke was due to my defending myself....if youve ever seen charlie brown kick a football....thats what she did with the sword, missed the bottle and did a 360 spin strait at me, i happened to be wearing my sword at the time and as i saw her spin i drew my sword and hers struck mine edge to edge, permanently defacing both of them...however i did walk away unharmed. Thanks Musashi Katana

Yea, gotta bend or file the tip back flat with blade first. lap the stone on another stone fairly often to keep it flat!
