Hey all What is a good product to get tiny swirl marks out of lacquer? And might help covering a 1 millimeter scuff on the saya.. I've been researching 'Carnauba Wax' and Mothers www.mothers.com/02_products/05550-05750.html seems ok and maybe Briwax - Toluene free www.briwax.com/briwaxtfpp.htm but not too sure. What do the pros use? Swissvax seems really good but im not paying that much for a can of wax. Thank you for your experience.

I would say you could use a furniture polish you would use on a piano or similar furniture or most types of car polish/wax to buff it up with good results.

Word, thanks frank. Excellent advice
After a lot of research, I found most furniture polishes are not good for lacquer. The best thing to use is Carnauba Wax, but it HAS to be "Toluene Free" meaning it does not have turpentine and some other things that can damage lacquer.
After looking at a lot of products, i went to local hardware stores but couldn't find much, actually had to go to an Auto parts store and got "Meguiar's Gold Class Paste Wax" which removes swirl marks pretty well and leaves a layer of protection. Made it shine better than i got it a week or so ago. Good investment.
