Okay, I'm really new to sword repairs. The only thing I know how to do is sharpen them. So, I bought the Cas Hanwei Practical "Viking" sword. The first thing I noticed upon attempting to use it was the looseness of the blade. You can shake the handle, but the blade has a mind of its own. Can anyone help me?

The Hanwei Practical Viking sword is peened IIRC... you can't tighten it so I'd contact Hanwei about it, or the vendor if you didn't buy it directly from them.

That sucks. I think I'll just contact Hanwei about this one. Thank you for the information, nonetheless.

Hmmm... Think it would be possible to do a quick forge job on it? I have a friend who makes his own knives, so he has the whole facility.
