I've been taking pictures all along using those cheapo ( but effective ) disposal cameras you pick up at BiMart for five or six bucks. I especially want everybody to see this tang, which I think is quite stout. When I get the pictures developed I'll scan them in and post them online. I really need to get one of those digital load-it-into-your-computer cameras, but I'm still using Windows ME, and you'd be surprised ( or not ) about how much isn't compatible with that operating system. Glad you liked the review. I looked for one like this on the Hero's Warsword before I bought it, and am trying to get answered all the questions I would have liked to ask. Since I am a greenhorn, acknowledgement must be made to some very savvy people who have blessed this thread by contributing to it. Their inputs have provided much useful information.
While we're on the subject, there's a few huge, heavy ones out there I'd like to get next. I'm thinking of the Del Tin German Great Sword, the Ritter Steel German Landsknechte Sword, and Cold Steel Two Handed Great Sword. Got any opinion on those beasties?

Out of those 3 I'd say Del Tin, but if it were me I'd look more at the Hanwei Lowlander (unless you already have it, haven't read anything since the first post, lol).

Right now 1 EURO will cost $1.35 US. Much better for the Europeans to buy from us instead of us buying from them.

Given its budget friendly price and how much I liked Hanwei's Scottish Claymore, the Lowlander isn't too far off in my future.

Oooooo, I didn't know Arms and Armor had one that big...
But yeah, the Lowlander if pretty nice, I've had the chance to see it in person.

I had not previously seen either of those swords. Both looked awesome. I haven't yet sprang for any higher-end swords but the Arms and Armor two hander might just be my first. One look and it sort of gets under your skin.
And thanks for the link to Lutel. Some great stuff there. Wish they had a retail outlet in the States.

Good choice on the A&A Two handed sword. That's what I will pick if I wanted a large two handed sword. Though the price is a little less than $1K, it worth the price since it is a great replica of the two handed sword in the Wallace collection. Forum member Lunaman has some picture of the original sword: forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=239&start=450

Thanks to Jerrymander and Lunaman for the link to the picture of the original in the Wallace collection. When I look at the weathering on the blade I can't help but wonder what that sword has seen in its lifetime. Yeah, I'm giving the Arms and Armor version a pretty high priority.
