Hey, just wanted to introduce myself.
I've been a sword lover since i was about 5, and have been collecting since i was 11, my first sword being a crappy 440 stainless "tactical" ninja sword and dagger, which i promptly abused like most 11 year old's would. I'm also a martial arts enthusiast, with about 4 years of formal teaching in karate, and have been picking things up along the way. Anywho, I've glanced over the SBG forum many a time, and have finally decided to join.

I've moved up a bit in the past years. Currently I have a high carbon katana I purchased from a sword shop at my local flea market. Thankfully it"s full tang and durable, if a bit blade heavy. Makes short work of the many milk jugs I go through too. :lol:
