I have a functional but CHEAP euro. When I first received it, I noticed the guard was slightly skewed--not by much, but noticable nevertheless. A minor detail, but I'm OCD with that sort of thing! I've tried to adjust it, can get it perfectly aligned, but each time I tighten the grip retaining nut (see pic) the guard would shift again. Any advice? Attachments:

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer about it, and seeing if they would repair it?

I bought the sword in September, would it be too late now?

That would depend on the manufacturer I suppose, they might have some kind of warranty. I'd say that it's worth a shot. Were is it from?

Strongblade. I sent them a pic of a small chip in the blade's shoulder, and they said they could replace if any problems resulted from that.

I feel your pain. I'm very sensitive stuff like this as well.

Finally took your advice, contacted Strongblade, and requested a replacement guard. Roger from Strongblade was happy to send me a new one, which fit perfectly. On the old one, the blade shoulders were wider than the cutout in the guard, but the new one was cast perfectly! Thanks for the advice...
