Hello you'all!
Well as usual for me, I went everywhere but the begining! Like looking for a good book, one thumbs through it to get the gist of its direction to the payoff. I finally did go to the begining and have read the intro, rules and the suggestions as well as the descriptions and definitions of nominclature. Very interesting and valuable info for anyone who likes to collect arms! I have read a great many of the sword reviews and the answers given. I've scoured the discussions on different topics and I must say I'm impressed with the wealth of knowledge possessed by the friendly folks here on this forum. I'm an old (70 yrs.) ex-marine, still doing my 5 miles every morning, who was re-introduced to my old NCO sword after running out of things to do and deciding to clean out the attic. That hasen't been accomplished yet! The bug bit me! I've bought several swords before discovering the SBG forum and fortunantly I have been lucky...no bad ones, thanks to some reputable dealers....good fortune indeed! Armed with the knowledge from this forum maybe my luck will continue...Thanks to you all for your input and to
Paul and the other founders of this forum! I will discover who you are as we go forward with this driving force within to collect them all!!!......the_antposse!

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
